It is not impossible to get new free cell phones. It just takes a carefully thought-out plan to get new free cell phones. You can get the best bargain on new free cell phones available if you apply certain tricks. However, it goes without saying that you need to have a strong will to succeed. You must create time for research and look for the best deal on new free cell phones. Yes, you can get the latest free phone on the market, and not just the used ones anyway.

To start with, one of the best ways to get new free cell phones is to look for a plan that gives these devices at no cost. Although, getting new free cell phones may come with certain conditions. You may have to pay a fixed monthly fee and sign a contract. Once you obtain one of the new free cell phones of your dream, you may need to stick with the company for some time to come. You will also need to pay a penalty fee if you decide to cancel your plan before that contract expires. However, despite all the conditions, it is still reasonable if you pay just a very little monthly fee to enjoy one of the new free cell phones. Isn’t it? Typically the wireless carrier’s websites will have the best pricing compared to calling in or visiting their store locations. Another option that is normally even less expensive will be a third-party online retailer such as LetsTalk.

In addition, you can make a good bargain for free if you sign up for product testing offers. All you need do is to take part in phone surveys and testing and supply your address. Most probably, you can be sent a mobile phone device at no cost for you to try out. Then, once you abide by the stated rules, you will be able to keep the device as yours as long as possible. So, if you like this method of getting new free cell phones, then look out for tech blogs, forums, company websites that give out such offers. Typically these are provided straight from the carrier or the manufacturer, I would suggest staying away from other sources.

Lastly, you can also get new free cell phones if you take part in online quiz, lottery programs as well as TV games. It costs you nothing, except maybe some luck and some degree of smartness. Besides this, cell phone service providers can give out new free cell phones for their existing customers. Who knows? It just might be your turn. If you are a current customer, it would be best to call their Customer Service Department directly (typically by dialing 611 on your phone) and advise them you are considering leaving their company unless you can get a new free cell phone. You need to be vigilant and pay good attention to keeping up to date with information in the mobile phone industry. Speak with your friends and family members in case their service providers are willing to offer new free cell phones. That could be your opportunity to own a phone.

Cell phones are more than just a device for making and receiving calls. They serve a number of functions that can make our life better. For example, you can check you email, surf the internet, play games, send a text message and a couple of other activities that are equally dear to our hearts. However, choosing a free cell phone for low income households and of course, a good plan to go with it, is no small task.

The kind of phone you choose is dependent on your choice of wireless service provider. When you want to shop for a mobile service carrier, it is important you find out which carrier offers a free cell phone for low income households in your area. You should be able to pick the best from the array of phones the mobile service provider is offering with their plans. Most cell phones would work with just a single provider since most service providers have mutually exclusive networks, except with a few other handsets. So, bear this in mind when choosing a free cell phone for low income households.

On a good note, it is cheering news that one can get 3G service on a free cell phone for low income households. You do not need to be surprised at this. The mobile technology of 3G service is now employed by service providers to enhance data transfer. So, you can get a free cell phone for low income households without being denied the benefits of enjoying the latest advances in cell phone technology. Not only can you get a free cell phone for low income households, you can also use the phone to wirelessly access data such as text messages, e-mails and the internet.

When you obtain a free cell phone for low income households, try to ensure the phone supports quad radio bands. Usually, the more radio bansd a phone supports, the higher frequencies it is likely to receive. Having phones that operate across four frequency bands is not bad at all. From calculations, such phones provide better coverage than the single, dual or triple band phones. They are even compatible with other GSM carriers, making it easy to for the phones to function across the globe. You will surely find this a handy feature when you travel out of the country or to a rural area.

If you are looking for a free cell phone for low income households, I would suggest two options for you. First of all, you can check with the prepaid wireless carriers as these will give you the lowest bill per month. The other option is to check with the major carriers as they typically have non-smartphones available with a contract for free. These phones won’t require data plans or messaging plans so you will be able to keep your bill low each month.

Getting a free cell phone for low income households does not mean you have to deny yourself basic phone features that will make your life better. Even if you are paying less money due to your low income, compared to high income phone buyers out there, you still need to enjoy the value of what you pay for. It is your right!

When you drop your phone in water or on the floor, or your battery is dying, a question that may pop up in your mind is how can I get a free cell phone? Well, no need to panic! Even if you are out of your contract or at the tail end, the tips shared here will help put an answer to the burning question of “how can I get a free cell phone?”.

Before we get down to the nitty gritty, it is vital to know that many companies will check your credit when you try to sign a new contract. They might even ask you to pay for the phone before signing the contract. However, even if you don’t have credit and are wondering “how can I get a free cell phone?” Well, you can still get a free cell phone. So, let’s now get down to the points you need to get a free cell phone.

“How can I get a free cell phone?” The answer is simple! Hop on a family plan. Many companies out there have plans where a family member can get a free phone once the plan has been signed up. So, if you have a family member who has such a plan, ask them to see their cell phone provider and ask about a shared family plan to obtain your free phone. This can also be a less expensive per month compared to getting your own plan.

“How can I get a free cell phone?” Consider using providers that are looking to build a large base of customers. So, such companies will be willing to give free cell phones to people, without the need for upfront cash or a credit card. Typically these carriers will be more of the regional carriers who aren’t found across the country.

You can as well get a prepaid phone service plan from a reliable larger service provider. This type of account does not necessarily need a credit check and you can enjoy the many benefits that come with it, in addition to the free cell phone you may be given.

How Can I get a free cell phone? Well, it is all about being informed. Try to research the internet, check magazines, and see bill boards. Who knows, you could have an opportunity to get a free cell phone at your fingertips. There are many offers out there that can help you get a free cell phone, without paying a dime. However, that is not to rule out the fact that, some conditions may be attached to any free offer. So, be sure you can tolerate the hidden conditions before you jump at the offer of a free cell phone.

When it comes to choosing cell phones for seniors, there are countless options out there. Seniors are elder people who may not like the bonus features present in the latest phones that the younger generations often crave for. Good cell phones for seniors must be easy to see, easy to use and then… easy to hear. The new generation phones of today often come with an array of bonus features like cameras, internet access, GPS and a lot of other facilities. On the contrary, a number of seniors will just be happy with a simple phone that is very easy to operate, and specially designed for them. So, it is important to look out for certain features when choosing cell phones for seniors. Here are some tips you will find useful

Order larger cell phones for seniors use. A good senior phone must be easy to use, with large screen and large keypads. The keypads and screen need to be bright and well lit, making it easy to be seen by senior’s “weak eyes”. If the senior has problems with hearing, then you should consider audible cell phones for seniors. Just think about the needed features that will make the phone easy to use.

You can order cell phones for seniors that just make voice calls. Buying cell phones for seniors, particularly those with voice call activation system, makes it easy to make a call by simply saying a person’s name. For a senior who has a hard time dialing numbers or looking up numbers, such cell phones for seniors will be best. All you need do is to program the frequently used number and activate the voice call system.

Also consider choosing cell phones for seniors that have prepaid plans attached to them. A prepaid plan is often the best for a senior who does not make many calls anyway. It is a simple plan that can cost no more than $10 a month, a good plan for a phone that is used only in emergencies. In that case, make sure the cell phones for seniors have a button 911 call feature. That will make such phones easy to use in emergency conditions.

Finally, make sure any of the cell phones for seniors you may want to buy, has got a charger that is easy to use. Some cell phones for seniors come with a base that makes it easy to set the phones into when charging. Phones with small USB ports may be very hard for seniors to charge. So, when next you are thinking of buying cell phones for seniors, pick one that is easy to use. Beware of cancellation fees that may be applied to some cell phones for seniors.

The first time you will come across the T-mobile HTC myTouch 4G Slide, your first impression will probably not so much be different from mine: with this piece of device, who needs a digital camera. If you are looking to take awesome shots, this phone of the future sure beats most of the other Android phone hands down and for only $199.99 on T-Mobile’s website. The MyTouch 4G Slide is a high quality device that compares favourably in every aspect with the best physical slide out keyboard Android phones in the market today, thus making it a great appeal to QWERTY keyboard Android fans. It also has a full virtual soft-touch.

When you buy the myTouch 4G slide, the device comes along with SIM card, battery, A/C adapter, USB cable, and some pamphlets containing instructions and warranty information.

The front side of the phone features a 3.7 inch LCD display screen with the usual four physical buttons (Home, Menu, Back, and Genius Button) beneath it. And below these buttons you will find an optical trackpad to help you navigate around the screen display. There is also a light indicator hidden in the headset grill, a powerful VGA front facing camera, a 8MP rear camera, and a proximity sensor. If you are a physical keyboard fan, you will love the large physical QERTY keyboard with four rows of buttons well-spaced apart from each other.

On the bottom of the phone is a lanyard opening, the microphone and the camera shutter button(silver-coloured) you will find on the right side. The thing I find very cool is that, if you are an avid photo-taker like myself, when the phone is locked, you don’t need to unlock it before you can launch the camera. All you need do is to press and hold the button for a brief moment and the camera is launched. Cool isn’t it? On the left side of the device, you will find the volume button and a microUSB port. The 3.5mm headset jack and power button are located on the top while on the back side, the two LED flash lights, mono speaker, and 8MP camera are found.

In terms of software on the myTouch 4G, I have been able to use it just for a short while for the test period and one thing I found like my other colleagues is that the device is very fast and accurately responsive. The myTouch 4G Slide supports WiFi calling, but don’t get too excited because it will still consume your minutes even though the calls are over WiFi. The phone also packs a boatload of the typical applications like T-Mobile TV, DoubleTwist Sync, Bejeweled 2 demo, and TeleNav GPS, plus Netflix, making it one of the few Android phones that has Netflix by default.

The myTouch 4G runs on the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, but disappointingly only 1GB of the 4GB of internal memory is available to the user, and it only comes with an 8GB microSD card preinstalled, though you can expand up to 32GB. It has a 1520 mAh lithium-ion battery which sure confers on it above average battery life span.

All said and done, when T-Mobile’s latest addition, the HTC myTouch 4G Slide, is finally released into the market by the end of this month, you will agree with me that when you have myTouch 4G you won’t need to carry a camera on you any longer.

When I first saw T-Mobile’s HTC Sensation 4G, it was what could be described as love at first site.
When I first saw T-Mobile’s HTC Sensation 4G, it was what could be described as love at first site. Not because of a flashy or cool design, but simply for the fact that Sensation 4G was solid and sleek. Despite the crystal-clear 4.3 inch screen, it isn’t bulky or heavy like some other 4.3-inch-screen smartphones, such as the HTC Thunderbolt and Samsung Droid Charge. The aluminium chassis body, high-quality construction and the slim profile makes the HTC Sensation 4G one of the best-looking and most well-built smartphones you’ve ever seen to date. One of the reasons you should go for this device(like I did) is that it sure feels good in the hand and is solidly built with a contour design that gives it a concave shape, which helps prevent the screen from scratching when you place the phone with the screen down – and I bet you always do. This design also makes the phone feel comfortable when held against the cheek while making or answering calls.

Below the display screen, there are the touch-sensitive buttons for the home, menu, back, and search functions. When you look at the left side of the phone, you will find the volume rocker and Micro-USB port, while the right side you won’t find any controls. A 3.5mm headphone jack and power button are found on the top side of the device, and just below it, on the upper right side of the screen, is the front-facing camera. The 8-megapixel camera and the dual LED flash is on back side of the phone. The keyboard you use for text entry is virtual with options for full QWERTY, phone, or compact.

If you travel a lot, The T-Mobile Sensation 4G offers world roaming capabilities. Personally I enjoy the conference calling, voice dialling, video calling via Qik, and text and multimedia messaging features. Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi are all onboard, and there is support for Wi-Fi calling. T-Mobile doesn’t charge extra for this feature, but it is from your regular voice plan they deduct. However, the only thing I personally find discouraging is that Sensation 4G doesn’t offer much internal memory (1GB of on-board memory and an 8GB microSD card) – that is when compared with other 1.2GHz dual-core processor android phones. The phone’s speakers are also pretty weak.

Software wise, the T-mobile HTC Sensation 4G runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and on the screen display, aside from the basics – date, time, and other vital statistics, you can add shortcuts to your four favorite applications. By default, the phone automatically sets the shortcuts to phone, mail, camera, and messages, but you can change them. I changed mine to photo gallery, friend stream, favorite stocks, and weather. And one thing I find cool is that instead of having to unlock the phone first before you can open any specific application, with Sensation 4G, all you have to do is to simply drag the icon to the ring at the bottom of the screen. This sure saves a lot of time and stress, if you know what I mean. Also if you love having your TV move with you and you are a T-Mobile user, The T-Mobile TV application allows users to watch live TV and select on-demand content, and it works perfect — But don’t forget, the on-demand/downloaded stuff you get at your own time while the live content is either you are there or you miss out.

The 1080p video is quite nice. I can assure you, it’s one of the best you have ever seen. But one thing you can’t avoid is that tt will run down your battery. However, aside the 1080p video recording, the battery life on the HTC Sensation 4G is very okay. Several times, I’ve used it for a full day making use of all the primary devices of the phone yet still had battery to spare. On a particular occasion I travelled for two days and left the phone on, but unused, and when I came back I discovered it still had good battery life, for that that I score it above average in terms of battery life.

All in all, if you are a T-Mobile user, the HTC Sensation 4G is a great phone you should go for it without hesitation. Its fast, feels good in the hand, has a great screen, strong battery life and lots of gusto.

Despite the much touted imitation of the iPhone by Samsung in the making of T-Mobile Samsung Nexus S 4G, it is obvious that they are both not a match. Agreed, they both have a lot of similarities, for example the sleek black device has an extremely thin design almost as thin as the iPhone 4 - Nexus S 4G is 0.44 inches thick, while the iPhone 4 is 0.37. If you have ever handled both, you will know that this is a difference you’re not likely to notice unless perhaps you have a pair of digital callipers built into your hand. But you can’t deny the fact that Nexus S 4G is the better of the pack. Here’s why! Besides other features, the Nexus 4G has 4G, which the iPhone 4 can’t boast of — that alone can justify a few extra bucks on the price. Don’t you think?

The phone feels comfortable in the hand and is made with a sleek and slippery plastic material. It has a simple and utterly symmetrical tablet shape, thus never feels awkward. When you first see or buy the Nexus S 4G, you may pass through the same stress I passed through searching for the microSD card slot – pulling off the battery cover, pulling up the battery, checking the edges and stuff like that. But the thing is that it doesn’t have one. And I can assure you that can be a real pain in the uhhh you know! But this deficiency (it may not be, but that is how I see it), has been more than compensated for – This device has a 16 GB internal memory. However without a microSD card that is all you get. Nothing more, nothing less. You just can’t increase space in future if you need to do so.

If you love large screen phones, like I do, this phone will certainly impress you with its crystal-clear 4 inch screen; it’s well built and sleek. If you are a physical keyboard or button fan, here’s the shocker, you may be a little disappointed because this one doesn’t have one. Not even a camera push button except for the requisite navigation button below the touch display screen, the power-button and the volume keys. To me this button-less phone, even though I love it for several other reasons, can be very disturbing because before I can make an urgent call, I have to turn it on, unlock, go to home screen before I can access the virtual keypad and dial. Doesn’t this sound a little stressful to you? Even though for users of Android phones, a phone call is of very low priority, it still doesn’t account for the stress in case you have to just put across an urgent call.

Overall, the Samsung Nexus S 4G is a very solid phone. I was concerned about the fact that it was made of plastic thus can break easily, but after the phone fell out of my hands and crashed on the floor without any damage except for a few scratches, I have changed my opinion completely about the fragility of the phone.

In almost every respect, the Verizon Motorola Droid X2 ranks a lot higher than most Android phones in the market today. For Verizon users who are interested in high processing speed for their android phones, the Droid X2 has a 1GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera capable of shooting 720p HD video, 8GB of built-in storage, and the usual Android basic features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, digital compass, and an accelerometer. What I personally liked about the phone was the ruggedness and sturdy design together with a great touch keyboard. Phone call clarity of the Droid X2 is very good and outputting audio seemed a bit clearer than several phones.

Design wise, if you used the Motorola Droid X, you will agree with me that there is little or no difference between the Droid X2 and the Droid X when handled side by side. The only slight difference is the physical camera button which is no longer available in the Droid X2 (so you basically have to use the touch screen to capture your photos). Beneath the 4.3-inch screen display(which is great for web browsing and multimedia), are the usual Android phone four physical buttons: menu, home, back, and search. On top of the device is the 3.5mm headphone jack and power button. The left and right sides house the microUSB, plus the HDMI ports, and volume rocker respectively. The back of the phone has the 8-megapixel camera which is located on next to a dual-LED flash.

The Droid X2 runs the Android 2.2 operating system, though an upgrade to 2.3 (Gingerbread) is available(as seen in the Droid 3) but both version’s still have access to several important Google mobile services, including Gmail, Google Maps Navigation, and YouTube, and the other features. If you owned the Droid X previously, you will be as surprised as I was when I mistakenly pressed the Home button twice bringing up a thumbnail view of all seven home screens(each having four static buttons at the bottom – phone, camera, messages and applications) thus making it possible for me to navigate between them. This is an enhancement of the user interface.

In terms of battery life, I can attest that the Motorola Droid X2 competes favourably with the best Android phones in the market today. The large 1,540mAh battery has about 8 hours of talk time and a friend told me he travelled for more than a week without the phone and came back to still find it on. This confirms what Motorola claims – 220 hours (nine days) of standby time. And the phone has on several occasions seen me through an entire day full of heavy usage, audio streaming, downloading etc.

The phone is thin and weighs less than most other Android phones but it certainly can’t compare with other ultra-thin handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S II. And in my opinion, even though I love the phone, without 4G, without 4G LTE connectivity, without a front-facing camera, without Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), and without a particularly stunning user interface or better screen clarity when compared to similarly priced phones from competitors like HTC, Samsung, and LG, there’s not much incentive for a large mass of people to subscribe to the idea of purchasing it.

The Thrill 4G has a very powerful processing speed thanks to the 1GHz dual-core processor along with dual-channel and dual-memory architecture. Design-wise, for large screen display fans, its generous 4.3-inch WVGA display certainly is impressive, and feels decidedly solid in the hand. The matte rubbery surface provides a firmer grip when held. The phone has two 5-megapixel cameras on the back and a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front. These dual-array cameras can record 3D in 720p and 2D in 1080p.

The biggest attraction for me and the rest of the other folks out there, of course, is the fact that Thrill 4G has the capacity to display 3D without the need for glasses. This alone is a great leap ahead of most other Android phones in the market today. To turn on the 3D feature, Press the 3D button on the side (or instead you can via the touch screen by selecting the 3D shortcut icon), and this will take you to the 3D hub. The hub itself is three-dimensional, and you could clearly view the icons almost jumping out at you. From here, you can look at 3D images or you can jump from the 3D carousel to 3D games, YouTube, images, or videos.

Though it’s not advisable to leave the phone completely in 3D mode, though notwithstanding, it still has its appeal. If you have ever played the Let’s Golf game (Nintendo 3D,Asphalt 6, or NOVA ) you will understand what I’m trying to say: It’s quite fun to see the 3D effect making the ball fly off into “the distance.” If on the other hand you use the device to record 3D videos, after recording, you can either share them on YouTube 3D, or plug in a cable connecting the phone’s Micro-HDMI port to a 3D television so you can see it on the big screen. Of course, you can do this with non-3D content as well.

The Thrill 4G has a no-glasses 3D screen, just like HTC’s EVO 3D for Sprint does. When I tried to compare the two, I noticed that there were some major differences between the two 3D phones. For example, The Thrill 4G had a lower-resolution 4.3-inch screen, 800×480 as opposed to the EVO 3D’s 960×540. That made 3D content look a bit grainy on the LG phone. But if you don’t place both phones side by side and take your time to observe both very closely, you certainly won’t notice that Thrill 4G 3D videos are less sharp. But I believe to the average user this won’t make the Thrill 4G lose any points. And in the end the lower resolution of Thrill 4G is compensated for by the fact that the viewing angle seemed wider than on the sharper EVO screen.

Wirefly cell phones and service plans were created to ease the process of getting a new cell phone. The website offers a number of special offers that will facilitate getting phones at discounted prices on various carriers. In some cases, Wirefly cell phones can even come as a free purchase or with cash rebates. Wirefly is owned by private individuals and it has been the number one port of call on the internet, since 2003 for all the major cell phone carriers in United States. So, if you are thinking of saving your time and money, then you will consider one of the Wirefly cell phones. Let’s discuss how to go about this.

Visit the company’s official website for Wirefly cell phones. On the Wirefly official website, you will be able to choose from an array of cell phones and providers in your area. Usually, there are a number of affordable Wirefly cell phones and plans which you can choose from.
The website can let you upgrade your existing account, or get a new one. As the case may be, you can also add Wirefly cell phones to your contract. No matter what you want to do as far as Wirefly cell phones are concerned, you will surely find the company’s website a good resource to visit.

You can choose any of the new Wirefly cell phones and plan options. To do this, click on the “get a new phone and plan option” button you will find in the upper left corner of the webpage. Now, input your zip or area code and click the arrow. Once you do this, you will be directed to a page where you can see a list of the carriers and phones available.

Now, pick a carrier. You will find a list of all the available carriers in your locality under the box that reads “View Phones by Carriers”. Click on the carrier you like best. If you need more information about the carrier, be sure to review all the list of phone options which the company provides and their prices on the screen.

Let’s now talk about choosing a phone. To start with, preview all of the phones available through your selected provider, so you can find your taste. Click on each phone to review the inherent features. Then, select one of the Wirefly cell phones you like best.

Once that is done, then you can now complete your purchase by adding your chosen phone to your cart. Then, decide whether or not you need a service protection plan and, you can add any of the accessories you’d like to purchase additionally. Now, review and pick the features you would like on your phone and click on the “Continue” button found at the bottom of the screen. Take your time to read and digest the service plans and fees, before you proceed to checkout. If there is any term of service you are not satisfied with, you can cancel your purchase. But if all is well, then fill the required information on the Checkout page.
Enter your personal information, personal shipping data and payment details. Fill out the service provider’s application too. Then, complete your purchase by hitting the “Submit Order” button. Make sure you read all the agreements as you are typically agreeing to a contract of some sort. All the best!
